At Takshashila, we believe that each child is unique individual with their own set of talents and abilities. Our dedicated team of therapists and educators are passionate about fostering a love for learning, curiosity and creativity in every child. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere where children feel secure and loved.
A safe and secure environment are of utmost importance to us. Our centre adheres to the highest standards of child protection and follows strict safety protocols, we maintain a clean and secure environment where your child can thrive, supported by a team that is trained in first aid and emergency response.
Our theme-based curriculum is designed to address a holistic approach of a child’s development, including cognitive, physical, social, behavioural and emotional domain. The themes are designed to help lay a foundation for better understanding of our great Indian culture and family values. which will help your child to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, socially as well as academically.
It’s my personal commitment to provide the most personal care for both you and your child. We welcome all opportunities for communication- you will never here a recorded voice when you call and you will always be greeted personally when you arrive. We feel that this is the most important objective in providing quality care, by welcoming you into our family, we will be able to provide the type of care that is both enriching and nurturing.

Dear parents,
On behalf of the entire faculty, I would like to welcome you and your family to Takshashila Institute for Child Development. Takshashila is providing excellent care and learning for children 2years to 18 years. In our institute we view each child as creative, capable and curious learners. Children learn in so many ways, and we feel that children should learn in an environment that is suitable to each child versus the class room as a whole. The environment plays a vital role in our centre.
Therapists and educators at Takshashila take extra time observing all the children to really get to know them individually, watching for each child’s interest and skill sets. Just as the children are encouraged to collaborate with us as well. Parents are always welcome into our centre and we look forward to seeing family and friends at all our special events. We want your family to extend into our Takshashila family.
Parenting a child with special need bring special challenges. It’s hard when you are trying to be strong for your children every minute of the day, but I believe with proper support and guidance raising a neurodiverse child (child with special needs) can be an awesome responsibility and virtues such as compassion, humility, confidence, patience, joy and empathy are life rewards and it could never be taught.
At our centre, we believe parent empowerment is an important component of child and family centred care. It starts with building good communication, provide support and information, build knowledge and be open to working in shared partnership. We pay particular attention to the individual and cultural needs of child and their families. We recognise that we cannot achieve our goal alone, our work relies on your support and involvement- parent or caregiver, special care provider or simply someone who believes in inclusion.
