Takshshila brings the ultimate internship program for students of various background. Our structured program will give the participant a conducive environment to learn and understand the basics of human behaviour and orientation of various disability and its intervention. Participants will get chance to get hands on training under RCI licensed professionals. Our internship program is unique as it designed by those rehabilitation professionals who bring actual practical knowledge to the table.
Our internship programme will cover the orientation about the clinical skill required for child assessment, case conceptualization and evidenced based psychological intervention and therapeutic strategies in clinical setting. Intern will get opportunities for broad clinical observation experience within multidisciplinary treatment at our centre.

Any students who are perusing carrier in the field of rehabilitation courses like:-
– Psychology
– Special education
– Hearing, language and speech
– Physiotherapy
– Interns are expected to adhere to the established traditions and guidelines within the facility. This includes attending all sessions during the routine period and actively participating in outside activities as part of their internship responsibilities.
– Interns are required to strictly adhere to the dress code within the campus. Maintain compliance with these guidelines is essential for a professional appearance within the Takshashila facility.
– Inters are expected to carry their college ID cards at all times within the Takshashila premises for identification and security purpose.
– Maintaining a professional relationship with clients and visitors is essential for interns, emphasizing the avoidance of informal conversations. Additionally, obtaining approval from the Takshashila authority before conducting client orientations or engaging with families is a prerequisite.
– Interns are expected to uphold high levels of discipline, with attendance records taken promptly at given time. Punctuality is crucial, and late arrivals will be appropriately marked.
– Interns bear the prime responsibility of respecting the dignity of each client as a crucial obligation.
– Ensuring the utmost confidentiality, interns are obligated to maintain the secrecy and anonymity of clients and their families, safeguarding information gathered during various sessions.
– Interns are required to notify the authority well in advance in writing when intending to take leave, adhering to the established protocol.
– Interns must adhere to the policy of not providing clients access to cell phones, money or unauthorized items. Additionally sharing personal details such as phone numbers, home addresses or social media IDs with clients or visitors, and vice versa, is strictly restricted.
– Interns are expected to dedicated themselves to the primary purpose and submit the project report, preferably one day before the end of the course. Completion certificates will only be issued upon fulfilling this requirement.
– Interns are encouraged to seek assistance from a therapists and educator for unforeseen problem. It is mandatory for interns to discuss their formal interactions with clients or families with the designated therapists or educators to receive valuable feedback.
– The Takshashila authority reserves the right to terminate an intern’s internship prematurely at any time in the event of a breach of the above principles.
During the course period, interns are prohibited from the following activities within Takshashila premises :
– Carrying irrelevant material not related to the internship.
– Roaming inside the Centre with a cell phone.
– Engaging in gossip.
– Participating in loud conversations.
– Leaving utensils unclean after use.
– Staying after the routine timing set by the authority.
– Late arrival in the sessions.
– Bringing friends to the premises.
