Takshshila provides behaviour therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational / physiotherapy therapy for children. Children do not need to be in our preschool program in order to receive these services offered by licensed staff.
ABA Therapy (Applied Behaviour Analysis)
Our ABA therapists use different Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques to improve social and communication skills, cognitive skills, adaptive behaviour and many, more learning skills in children through reinforcement techniques, it is also beneficial to treat a wide variety of behavioural challenges such as temper tantrum, hitting, biting, self-injurious behaviour and many more maladaptive behaviours.
Speech Therapy
Our Speech Therapists evaluate and treat those who faces challenges in the areas of speech and language development, they help children with speech / communication delay in improving their overall communication skills. Our Speech therapist assess language skills, communication, oral motor and feeding skills. They seek to identify specific communication problems such as articulation, fluency, voice, and receptive and expressive language disorders and plan and implement intervention to treat them in best ways.
Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy
Our Occupational / physiotherapist work on increasing the participation of neurodiverse children (children with special needs) in performance of daily activities meaningful. Our therapists work on developing fine and gross motor skills; sensory integration; sensory processing skills, attention and self-regulation; and, improving oral-motor skills to achieve their maximum participation in day-to-day life.
